Salary: £30,293.51 per annum + a 15% shift allowance

Shift Pattern: Any 5 out of 7 days, with mid-shift start times varying between 17:30 and 00:00 (midnight)

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative (Nights/Mids) representing Bridge Staffing Agency at Bidfood in Lee Mill, you will be a vital part of the team keeping operations moving while most of the country is asleep. • Active & Hands-on: A fast-paced role across ambient, chilled, and frozen environments that keeps you moving and fit.

• Essential Impact: Play a key role behind the scenes, making sure orders are accurately picked and loaded so our drivers hit the road on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately using a bar code scanning system with a wrist-mounted device.

• Load products, ensuring they are arranged, stored, and secured correctly.

• Operate handling equipment safely, with full training provided (including pump trucks, power pallet trucks, and forklifts).

• Support colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly overnight and ensure drivers leave on time.

What You Need to Apply

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering great service.

• A good level of physical fitness for an active role involving regular movement and manual handling.

• Reliability and flexibility to work mid/night shifts across any 5 in 7 days.

• Note: Experience in multi-temperature environments and using bar code scanning picking systems is beneficial!
