About the Role
In this impactful role, you will support infrastructure projects through all phases aligned with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of Work. You will interpret customer requirements, guide design developments, secure specification approvals, and contribute to robust financial business cases while coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant and contractor teams on-site.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage projects through full lifecycle phases, ensuring delivery meets high quality, safety, and departmental standards.
Procure and collaborate with multi-disciplinary consultant teams to deliver new buildings, major refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades.
Coordinate on-site contractor activities safely, ensuring compliance with building control and safety legislation.
Coach contractors and stakeholders to ensure full adherence to Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) and governance standards.
What We Are Looking For (Essential Skills & Qualifications):
Educational Background: A degree or HNC/D in Construction, Building Services, or related built environment disciplines (such as surveying, project management, energy, or sustainability).
Project Management Credentials: Recognized project management qualification (e.g., APM) or equivalent demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary contractor activities.
Industry Experience: Practical background dealing with construction, manufacturing plant, and equipment installations within industrial environments.
Regulatory Compliance: Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation, building controls, and CDM regulations.
Security Note: Due to defense and export control restrictions, all applicants must achieve at least a Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Higher levels of National Security Vetting may apply where required.
