As a Swimming Teacher working on behalf of Birmingham Community Leisure Trust at Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre, you will deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons (including baby and pre-school sessions) using the established Swim England "Learn to Swim" framework.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver structured, engaging, and progressive swimming lessons for diverse age groups, following the Swim England framework.
Confidence & Skill Building: Foster water confidence, safety, and foundational aquatic techniques in a welcoming environment.
Progress Tracking: Monitor and encourage student development, celebrating milestones as learners advance.
Inclusive Environment: Promote a safe, clean, friendly, and community-focused atmosphere for all participants and families.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual who loves working with people and inspiring water safety. Not qualified yet? We also welcome applications from aspiring teachers looking to start their training journey through our internal networks.
Professional Qualifications: Hold either an STA Qualification/Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or a Swim England Level 2 certification.
Safety Qualifications: Holding a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous, but free training can be provided.
Customer Focus: Excellent communication skills, with a natural talent for engaging positively with swimmers of all ages and backgrounds.
Vetting Requirement: A standard DBS check is required for this role (fully funded and provided by us).
Financial Package: Competitive hourly rate of up to £16.22 per hour.
