On behalf of our client, Barchester Healthcare, we are currently recruiting a dedicated Night Nurse (RGN) to join the permanent clinical team at Westgate House Care Home in Forest Gate, Newham.

About the Role
As a Night Nurse (RGN), you will lead the overnight clinical care standards, ensuring the physical, psychological, and social well-being of residents is safeguarded and promoted throughout the night.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Overnight Clinical Care & Management: Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care and making autonomous clinical decisions during night hours.
Care Planning & Risk Assessment: Developing, reviewing, and updating comprehensive care plans and detailed risk assessments tailored to individual resident needs.
Safe Medication Administration: Managing, dispensing, and administering medications in strict alignment with NMC regulations and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhering fully to essential legal and clinical frameworks, including DoLS and MCA requirements.
Night Shift Leadership: Providing clear clinical direction and guidance to night care assistants to ensure a safe, calm, and reassuring environment.
About You
We are seeking a warm, diligent, and clinically confident RGN with up-to-date evidence-based knowledge and a dedicated, person-centred approach.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Professional Registration: Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Clinical Skills: Sound knowledge of modern clinical practices, medication management protocols, and risk assessment procedures.
Regulatory Understanding: Solid grasp of key regulatory standards (MCA, DoLS, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
Personal Qualities: Excellent decision-making abilities, calm under pressure, and a empathetic, thoughtful approach to care.
