About the Role

As a permanent Activities Assistant at Cedars Care Home, you will deliver imaginative, fun, and varied activities to ensure our residents enjoy an environment that is motivational, engaging, and fulfilling.

We want to make sure each resident can pursue the interests they love most, giving you a real, positive impact on their daily lives. You will help deliver a vibrant entertainment and activities programme encompassing social events, hobbies, outings, and community links—empowering residents to live as independently and joyfully as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver a diverse schedule of engaging social activities, hobbies, and events.

• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in group sessions or enjoy one-to-one pastimes.

• Help maintain strong connections between residents and their families, friends, and the local community.

• Support residents in pursuing individual interests and hobbies tailored to their personal preferences.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care home team on a permanent part-time contract (24 hours per week).
