About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate Senior Nurse (Days) on a permanent part-time basis (33 hours per week) on behalf of Lauriston in St Leonards-on-Sea, a friendly and inclusive care home located close to the coast.
In this vital clinical leadership role, you will support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to deliver the highest standards of nursing care while leading, developing, and inspiring nursing and care colleagues. You will oversee care assessments, lead an allocated team, manage safe medication practices in line with NMC guidelines, and act as a clinical role model, taking charge of the home when required.
What You Will Need
Qualifications: Registered Nurse qualification with a current, active NMC PIN and evidence of ongoing professional revalidation.
Experience: Previous experience leading and managing nursing and care teams, with a strong understanding of care planning and clinical governance.
Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with confidence using electronic care records and IT systems.
Proximity & Attitude: A person-centred approach, a commitment to clinical excellence, sensitivity to the needs of older people, and ideally living within 15 miles of St Leonards-on-Sea (TN38 0SY).
