Monday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

As a Swimming Teacher working on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT) at Leys Leisure Centre, you will play an inspiring role in delivering safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons following the proven Swim England learn-to-swim framework.
Whether you want targeted part-time hours around specific shifts or flexible casual hours, we want you to feel secure and valued in your employment. You will help develop water confidence, core aquatic skills, and stroke techniques for swimmers of all ages and backgrounds.
Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, safe, and progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England framework.
Skill Development: Build water confidence and life-saving aquatic capabilities for participants of all ages.
Customer Engagement: Foster an inclusive, welcoming, and motivational environment for students and families.
Progress Tracking: Support participant progression, working closely with the centre team to ensure a high standard of aquatic coaching.
We are looking for an approachable, customer-focused communicator with a passion for swimming and community wellbeing.
Core Qualifications: Hold either an STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (formerly ASA) Level 2.
Safety Qualifications: Holding a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous, but free training can be provided.
Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, patient, and adaptable teaching style.
Vetting Requirement: A standard DBS check is required for this role (provided and paid for by us, along with professional insurance coverage).
Financial Package: Competitive hourly rate of up to £22.50 per hour.
