Salary: £30,715 - £33,756 per annum (pro rata, dependent on experience and qualifications) + fantastic benefits
Contract Type: Part-Time | 12-Month Maternity Cover (21 hours / 3 days per week, Monday - Saturday shifts, including on-call rota participation)

As a Senior Radiographer Cross Sectional, you will play a vital role within our multidisciplinary imaging department, delivering high-quality diagnostic examinations (covering General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, Theatre Imaging, CT, and MRI using Philips and Siemens systems) while acting as a senior clinical leader and mentor.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards.
Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the imaging journey.
Work flexibly across multiple modalities including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, and Theatre Radiography.
Act as a senior clinical leader and role model, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to radiographers, assistant practitioners, and students.
Support staff inductions, competency assessments, quality assurance activities, and continuous service improvement initiatives while participating in the on-call rota.
BSc in Radiography (or equivalent) with current HCPC Registration (essential).
Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate cross-sectional experience (essential).
Proven proficiency and certification in MRI, X-Ray, CT, and Cannulation (essential); Philips equipment and Mammography experience are highly desirable.
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and strong organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities.
