Salary: £30,715 - £33,756 per annum (pro rata, dependent on experience and qualifications) + fantastic benefits

Contract Type: Part-Time | 12-Month Maternity Cover (21 hours / 3 days per week, Monday - Saturday shifts, including on-call rota participation)

The Role

As a Senior Radiographer Cross Sectional, you will play a vital role within our multidisciplinary imaging department, delivering high-quality diagnostic examinations (covering General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, Theatre Imaging, CT, and MRI using Philips and Siemens systems) while acting as a senior clinical leader and mentor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards.

• Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the imaging journey.

• Work flexibly across multiple modalities including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, and Theatre Radiography.

• Act as a senior clinical leader and role model, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to radiographers, assistant practitioners, and students.

• Support staff inductions, competency assessments, quality assurance activities, and continuous service improvement initiatives while participating in the on-call rota.

What We Are Looking For

• BSc in Radiography (or equivalent) with current HCPC Registration (essential).

• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate cross-sectional experience (essential).

• Proven proficiency and certification in MRI, X-Ray, CT, and Cannulation (essential); Philips equipment and Mammography experience are highly desirable.

• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and strong organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities.
