About the Role

Are you looking to play a vital part in a rehabilitation environment that helps people regain control of their lives? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for Yew Tree Lodge, an essential residential home located in Reading, Berkshire.

Yew Tree Lodge provides 24-hour support and rehabilitation to 16 male and female adults living with severe and enduring mental health needs. The service provides crucial respite care for the local community, acts as a vital "step-down" facility for individuals transitioning from hospitals, and delivers the specialist environment required to prevent future hospital readmissions.

In this full-time role, you will join a dedicated, compassionate team focused on maintaining a safe, structured, and welcoming environment. While this specific position focuses on service operations and environmental support rather than direct personal care, your presence and organization will be absolutely vital to the daily wellbeing, comfort, and recovery journeys of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Operational Support: Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth daily running of the residential home, maintaining a warm and organized environment.
Environmental Wellbeing: Ensure communal and residential spaces are well looked after, clean, safe, and comfortable for everyone who lives and works there.
Encouragement & Rehabilitation: Build positive, professional boundaries with residents, subtly encouraging them to do as much as they can for themselves to foster independence.
Organizational Assistance: Assist with day-to-day administrative or logistical tasks as directed to facilitate the effective delivery of care and rehabilitation.
Safety & Compliance: Actively contribute to upholding strict safety, security, and confidentiality regulations across the service.
