In this flexible bank role, you will take pride in preparing delicious, nutritious meals for our residents—enjoying a rewarding culinary career without the late nights, split shifts, or anti-social hours typically found in restaurants!
Prepare and cook delicious, nutritious, and well-balanced meals for residents, accommodating specialist diets and personal preferences.
Manage kitchen hygiene, food safety, and catering standards in line with regulatory requirements.
Build warm relationships with residents and their families to ensure mealtimes remain a personal and cherished highlight of the day.
Collaborate closely with the wider care team as part of a supportive extended family.
Experience: Previous professional kitchen experience cooking for large groups, with knowledge of specialist diets and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Qualifications: Ideally holding or working towards a Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking (or equivalent), though this is not essential.
Attributes: A proud, detail-oriented approach to catering and a friendly, engaging manner with elderly residents.
Competitive Pay: £13.13 per hour.
