The Opportunity
We are partnering with a global financial services organization to find an expert Network Security Lead for an initial 6-month contract.
In this senior consultancy role, you will provide critical technical direction and deep expertise across network security architecture, WAF, F5, firewalls, network segmentation, VPNs, and legacy on-premises infrastructure within a highly regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the refresh of the organization's network security architecture and strategic roadmap.
Provide senior technical direction across a complex, predominantly on-prem environment.
Deliver deep network security expertise across WAF, network segmentation, firewall architecture and rule sets, VPN connectivity, and legacy network infrastructure.
Drive the ongoing uplift of the F5 environment, utilizing strong F5 technology expertise (with Palo Alto and Blue Coat exposure considered highly desirable).
Own the refresh of network security controls, translating security architecture into practical improvements and driving measurable progress against security and risk metrics.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience operating as a Network Security Lead or Senior Consultant within complex, regulated financial services environments.
Deep technical expertise across WAF, F5 technologies, network segmentation, firewall architecture, and VPN connectivity.
Strong background working with legacy on-premises infrastructure.
Experience driving the refresh of network security controls and architecture roadmaps.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup requiring 2 days per week in the Central London office.
