Position: Patient Administrator - Theatres (Permanent Role)
Location: Shirley Oaks Hospital, Croydon
Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, flexible shift pattern between 07:00–18:00 Monday–Friday with some weekend work required)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Shirley Oaks Hospital in Croydon—part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a dedicated Patient Administrator for their Administration and Theatre department.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours a week on a flexible shift pattern. In this vital role, you will contribute directly to the smooth operation of patient administrative processes throughout the entire patient journey, ensuring a professional, efficient, and standardized service for all patients, visitors, consultants, and staff.
Patient Journey Support: Assist with the smooth running of administrative workflows across every stage of the patient's care pathway.
Process Adherence: Follow Circle Health Group's best practice process maps to maintain a standard, high-quality, and professional service level.
Query Management: Handle and resolve all incoming patient and staff enquiries efficiently and professionally.
Correspondence & Bookings: Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, approve electronic bookings via the relevant systems, and process bookings received through email.
Health, Safety & Compliance: Maintain active knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, while keeping up-to-date with all mandatory training.
Education: Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C (or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2 evidence).
Technical Skills: Highly proficient in PC use, software, and computerised systems.
Core Competencies: Basic financial awareness, strong organisation, and meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria: Previous administrative experience gained within a private healthcare environment.
Competitive Pay: Fixed starting salary of £24,947.00 per year.
