ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a casual, flexible position designed to cover planned and unplanned absences (such as annual leave or sickness cover). As a Bank Activities Assistant, you will play a central role in celebrating life by helping to devise and deliver imaginative, fun, and engaging activities tailored to residents' individual interests and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Get to know residents and their families to support tailored activity programmes that boost wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.
Assist in organizing a diverse schedule of events, crafts, games, musical entertainment, and physical activities within the home.
Inspire and motivate residents, staff, and visitors to participate in group and one-to-one activities.
Support community outings and social events within the care home.
Provide flexible cover for the activities team when extra support is needed.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a warm, organized, and energetic individual with an infectious enthusiasm and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older adults.
Requirements & Experience:
Warm, empathetic, and personable communication style.
Strong organizational skills with a driven, "make-things-happen" mindset.
Creative approach to planning group and individual activities.
Previous experience in events, activities, or care is ideal but not essential (full training provided).
