Salary: £36,101.10 - £38,114.53 Per Annum + Outer London Weighting (£2,250.61) (CGL points 31 to 33)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a passionate, dynamic, and empowering permanent Children & Young Person Team Leader to lead the next chapter of their service in Croydon.
In this vital leadership role, you will oversee a dedicated team supporting young people and families affected by substance misuse and other challenges. Working collaboratively with schools, health services, Social Care, and Youth Justice Services, you will build robust strategic partnerships, champion innovative interventions, guide assessments, and ensure the highest standards of safety, governance, and quality care.
Operational Leadership & Supervision: Provide regular line management, reflective supervision, and performance management (via observed practice) to empower and develop team members.
Service & Assessment Guidance: Support the team in evaluating the needs of children, young people, and families, creating targeted individual and group care plans.
Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture collaborative relationships across local authority, health, education, and voluntary sectors to create seamless support pathways.
Governance & Budget Oversight: Monitor budget expenditure alongside the Cluster Manager and uphold rigorous safeguarding and quality governance standards.
Experience & Background: Practical background working in children and young people's services, supporting individuals with substance misuse issues and understanding the challenges faced by affected families.
Leadership & Supervision Skills: Proven experience leading staff, inspiring teams, and providing constructive supervision and professional development.
Safeguarding & Interventions: Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding practices, psychosocial/clinical interventions (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, ITEP), and the 'Hidden Harm' agenda.
Requirements: Collaborative, innovative, and inclusive leadership approach. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
