The kitchen team at Clare House is the magic behind every delicious meal, dedicated to delivering an outstanding dining experience that makes residents truly feel at home.
As an Assistant Chef through Supportive Bridge, you will use your love of fresh food and cooking to craft varied, nutritional menus tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences while helping lead the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
Use your passion for fresh ingredients to create varied, nutritional menus in line with residents' dietary requirements and personal preferences.
Train, guide, and manage the kitchen team in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food.
Put forward innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience and make residents feel at home.
Adhere strictly to COSHH, HACCP, company policies, budgets, and manage orders and deliveries.
Cater for special events, seasonal activities, and celebrations such as summer fetes, Christmas parties, and birthdays.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience working in a fresh food kitchen alongside relevant hygiene certificates.
A deep passion for cooking and an innovative, open-minded approach to culinary excellence.
Excellent communication skills, with a genuine desire to chat with residents, share your love of food, and make mealtimes a highlight of their day.
