About the Role
In this impactful role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Aeronautical Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Programmes, perfectly aligned with modern apprenticeship standards and employer requirements. Working as part of the Early Careers team, you will contribute to curriculum development, assess learner progress, and empower the next generation of engineers through blended classroom and digital learning environments.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging teaching across HNC Engineering and Level 3 Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing programmes.
Support curriculum planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement in a positive learning environment.
Prepare, assess, and provide constructive feedback on learner work to drive academic and technical progression.
Conduct regular apprentice reviews, setting meaningful targets for skills, knowledge, and behaviors (SKBs).
Develop and deliver inclusive blended learning using Canvas and other digital platforms (VLE).
What We Are Looking For (Essential Skills & Qualifications):
Industry Background: Proven engineering industry experience within aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or a related discipline.
Mentorship Experience: Demonstrated background in mentoring, supporting, and guiding apprentices or learners in a workplace or educational environment.
Preferred Attributes: Holding a formal teaching/training qualification, experience developing VLE blended learning resources, and familiarity delivering BTEC Engineering programs up to Level 4 are highly advantageous.
Security Note: Due to defense and export control restrictions, all applicants must achieve at least a Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Higher levels of National Security Vetting may apply where required.
