Support Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with employment, skills, and enterprise initiatives to connect passionate mentors with transformative community roles. We are currently recruiting a dedicated Progression Job Coach to join our Employment, Skills and Enterprise team in Cardiff.
In this rewarding role, you will support participants on the Restart scheme to overcome barriers, build confidence, and transition into sustainable employment. By delivering personalized coaching and practical support, your work will help individuals take positive steps toward long-term career success and create a lasting, meaningful impact on local communities.
Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of participants, guiding them through every stage of the Restart journey from initial engagement to sustained employment.
Coaching & Action Plans: Deliver one-to-one coaching, conduct thorough needs assessments, and create tailored action plans to address individual barriers to work.
Employability Support: Provide practical guidance on CV writing, job applications, interview preparation, and effective job-search techniques.
Employer Collaboration: Build strong relationships with local employers and internal teams to match participants to suitable roles.
Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate, high-quality records while ensuring full compliance with contract requirements and customer service standards.
Experience: Background in coaching, mentoring, or supporting individuals into employment, training, or education.
Passion & Drive: A genuine passion for helping people succeed, combined with experience working in a target-driven or performance-focused environment.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to motivate and influence others.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organization, time management, IT literacy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Language Skills: A good understanding of the Welsh language is highly advantageous.
