About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant (Nights) on a full-time fixed-term basis (39 hours per week) on behalf of Claybourne in Stoke-on-Trent, a supportive and purpose-led home specializing in dementia care.
In this key leadership role, you will take charge during night shifts, lead and motivate care colleagues, administer medication, and help maintain a warm, safe, and dignified environment for all residents.
What You Will Need
Leadership & Experience: Previous experience working in a care setting, including shift-leading or management deputising experience and medication administration.
A Caring & Respectful Approach: Genuine sensitivity, patience, and empathy for older people with a strong commitment to personal dignity.
Skills & Communication: Good IT and communication skills, with the ability to support care planning and guide a team. (A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent is desirable).
Flexibility & Proximity: A flexible approach to working across a rota. Ideally living within 15 miles of Stoke-on-Trent (ST6 6LA) for a manageable commute.
