Team Manager - Supported Living

Turning Point is recruiting a Team Manager for a new 24-hour supported living service in Birmingham for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs. Reporting to the Supported Living Manager, you will lead support teams across one or more services and help build the team as the service launches.

What you would do:

• Recruit, induct, supervise and develop staff and look after their wellbeing
• Keep the service safe, compliant and inspection-ready through safeguarding, audits, risk management and quality checks
• Help manage budgets, staffing and operational performance
• Support referrals, assessments and transitions, and keep accurate records
• Provide management cover and, in exceptional cases, frontline support

What they ask for:

• Proven experience leading teams in health or social care
• Experience supporting adults with complex and multiple needs
• Understanding of learning disabilities, mental health needs and the Mental Health Act
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, governance and quality assurance
• Experience in CQC-regulated services and managing resources and budgets

This is a permanent, full-time post of 37 hours per week paying up to £34,000 per annum. Turning Point states 32 days' paid holiday a year, rising to 34 with service, with the option to buy more. The advert may close early if the post is filled.
