As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit an experienced and passionate Bank / Relief Care Leader for The Heights. Designed and built to enable the effective delivery of specialist nursing care, this modern 75-room home in High Wycombe features practical nursing units on each wing, ample communal and outdoor spaces, and a vibrant, stimulating environment where residents are supported to feel truly at home.
As a Care Leader, you will support the Home Manager by leading a small team of carers to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Your professionalism, warmth, and compassion will ensure residents experience a true sense of security, dignity, and independence. You will oversee care plans, guide your team, and balance hands-on resident support with effective leadership.

Care Planning: Oversee the continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual resident care plans.
Resident Wellbeing: Ensure residents feel secure, respected, and independent, maintaining their dignity and personal choices at all times.
Operational Support: Support new starters through inductions, delegate tasks effectively, and use your initiative to resolve problems and handle queries.
Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a residential care setting, holding an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or holding NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3). Supervisory experience (such as leading inductions, 1-to-1s, or delegating tasks) is an advantage but not essential.
