The Role
As a Retail Shift Manager, you’ll help maintain high standards day after day. From motivating your team to taking responsibility for the shop floor, you’ll keep the store running like clockwork, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You’ll also reap the rewards of your hard work, enjoying the responsibility to prove yourself as a leader and find your footing for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Motivate and support your team, learning from leadership and company principles.
Problem Solving: Swiftly solve problems, delegate tasks effectively, and keep shifts running smoothly.
Store Operations: Create an environment where colleagues can succeed, and manage operations in the absence of the Store and Deputy Store Managers.
Inventory & Quality: Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management.
Customer Experience: Give customers the very best experience every time they visit the store.
What You’ll Need
Experience: Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast-paced environment.
Leadership & Delegation: The ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team.
Composure: Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to keep calm in any situation.

Proactive Attitude: A proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations.
What You’ll Receive
Competitive Pay: £15.45 - £15.95 per hour, with additional shift premiums (£2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for nights).
Holiday Allowance: 30–35 days’ holiday (pro rata).
