Job Title: Chef Manager
Location: Harts House Care Home, Harts Grove, Woodford, Woodford Green IG8 0BF
Salary: Up to £37,232 per year depending on experience + £1,000 welcome bonus + up to £3,000 annual performance bonus (£500 quarterly incentive for hitting KPIs)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week on a rota basis)

As a Chef Manager through Supportive Bridge, you will lead the kitchen team with natural flair, combining culinary excellence with strong leadership. You will design varied, person-centred menus, mentor your staff, manage budgets and orders, and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and dining enjoyment.
Use your passion for fresh food cooking and menu creation to design varied, nutritional menus tailored to the dietary needs and personal preferences of residents.
Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience at every meal.
Maintain rigorous compliance with COSHH, HACCP guidelines, budgets, orders, deliveries, and all mandatory paperwork.
Cater for special events, seasonal activities, birthdays, summer fetes, and Christmas parties.
A passion for cooking with solid experience in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates.
Natural leadership skills with an innovative, open-minded approach to cooking and team mentorship.
A warm, communicative nature who cherishes the little moments with residents and loves sharing their passion for food.
