As a Unit Manager (Non-Clinical), you will support the care home management team in delivering high-quality care with a difference. By fostering a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment, your leadership will directly impact residents, visitors, and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on monitoring standards of care delivered by staff through regular observation, audits, and direct involvement.
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, ensuring changing needs are met, care plans are updated, and written records reflect any variations.
Drive the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and completing monthly evaluations and care plan audits, as well as developing and managing action plans.
Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are actioned and concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.

Qualifications: Must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with the relevant resident group.
Knowledge & Skills: Solid understanding of the CQC Fundamental Standards, alongside the proven ability to lead staff and act responsibly in the absence of the manager.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
