As a Laundry Assistant, you will support the Head Housekeeper in delivering an exceptional laundering and hospitality service. Your hard work will ensure that high standards of presentation and cleanliness are consistently maintained, directly contributing to a comfortable and high-quality living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out all laundering duties efficiently and to a high standard.
Understand wash guide instructions, textile requirements, and the properties of cleaning materials to ensure items are well-cared for.
Practice safe systems of work across various tasks—particularly safe moving and handling of loads—while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of residents, visitors, and colleagues.
Contribute fully to teamwork, respond positively to colleagues, and promptly action reasonable work instructions.

Experience: Previous experience working in a laundry or hotel/similar setting is essential.

Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
