Pre Operative Assessment and Outpatients Manager

As the Manager of Preoperative Assessment and Outpatients, you will oversee daily operational management and clinical effectiveness across departments. You will collaborate closely with consultants and hospital leaders to enhance patient flow, streamline clinic templates, manage outpatient equipment, and drive continuous service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Outpatients, Preoperative Assessment, and Minor Procedures services to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care delivery.

• Optimize clinic capacity, scheduling templates, and operational workflows using performance data and service insights.

• Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks and clinical governance standards, creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Clinically registered healthcare professional with substantial post-registration experience in Outpatients, Preoperative Assessment, or an acute care setting.

• Proven leadership experience at Team Leader, Department Manager, or equivalent level in a clinical environment.

• Strong expertise in clinical governance, service improvement, stakeholder management, and performance data analysis.
