We are currently recruiting a Shift Manager on behalf of a major national food-on-the-go retailer known for its vibrant workplace culture, great employee benefits, and exceptional customer service.
About the Role
As a Shift Manager, you will serve as a vital part of the store’s leadership team. You’ll take charge of shop operations when the Manager isn't on duty, keeping the team motivated, organized, and equipped to deliver exceptional experiences.
Our client serves customers across multiple channels—in-store, Click & Collect, delivery, and drive-thru. You will lead the shift to maintain smooth service and fast, friendly customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate team members to reach high operational and service standards.
Customer Service: Lead by example by providing fast, friendly, and efficient service.
Food Preparation: Prepare customer-favorite food items, manage oven schedules, and handle sandwich preparation.
Merchandising: Ensure display units are fully stocked, tidy, and attractive throughout the day.
Store Standards: Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable environment across the shop floor.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Previous supervisory or team-leading experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
Leadership Skills: Natural ability to communicate well, support colleagues, and lead by example.
Reliability: Dependable with good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
