Care Assistant (MND Specialist Support)
Location: Sittingbourne, Upchurch, Maidstone, Gillingham, Rainham, and Chatham
Hours: Rotational pattern (Week 1: 4 days on / 3 days off; Week 2: 3 days on / 4 days off — with daily visits of 3 to 8 hours as needed)
Contract Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: Guaranteed flat daily rate of £156 per day (paid in full even if visit lengths vary!)

We are currently recruiting a dedicated Care Assistant to support a gentleman living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in his home in the Sittingbourne and Kent area, alongside his partner, child, and beloved family dogs.

What You Will Do
Assist our client with everyday living, personal care, and moving and handling to help him maintain maximum independence.
Work in a close-knit rotational pattern with another carer (Week 1: 4 days on / 3 days off; Week 2: 3 days on / 4 days off) covering daily visits.
Bring a positive, honest, and friendly energy to the home—someone who isn't afraid to own up to mistakes and is happy to join in with family life (including building Lego!).

What You Are Looking For
A compassionate, reliable, fun, and outgoing personality who loves dogs and can form a genuine, friendly connection with the client and his family.
Previous care experience or a background in supporting individuals with complex needs (moving and handling experience is essential).
Honesty, resilience, and a proactive approach to everyday care.
Valid evidence of the right to work in the UK.
