Domestic Assistant (Day)

As a Domestic Assistant (Day), you will carry out daily and periodic cleaning routines across resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces. Following strict safety guidelines, you will manage waste disposal and chemical storage to maintain exceptional hygiene throughout the care home.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident bedrooms, en-suites, communal areas, floors, and surfaces to high standards of hygiene.

• Safe handling and disposal of routine and clinical waste daily, re-stocking paper supplies and soap dispensers across the facility.

• Maintain COSHH compliance for all chemical storage and perform deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and window washing according to schedule.

Requirements

• A caring, reliable, and team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage physically demanding housekeeping tasks effectively.

• Understanding of general cleaning practices (awareness of COSHH guidelines and Health and Social Care standards is advantageous).

• Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Harrogate, UK.
