Acting as Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with B&M to recruit a dedicated Security Supervisor for their Profit Protection Team in Glasgow.
In this pivotal 40-hour per week role, you will work closely with the Regional Profit Protection Manager to oversee manned guarding, guarantee physical store security, and drive high standards of compliance across the region. You will take complete ownership of supervising security teams, monitoring performance, and optimizing the effectiveness of store safety protocols.
Team Recruitment & Training: Recruit, induct, train, and mentor Security Officers and Store Detectives.
Performance Management: Lead and manage team productivity, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and support.
Store Audits & Visits: Conduct regular field visits to ensure security standards are met and provide hands-on training where needed.
Risk Identification: Spot and report theft risks, security vulnerabilities, and procedural non-compliance.
Administration & Planning: Manage staff rotas, complete detailed incident reports, carry out audits, and support investigations in line with HR procedures.
Industry Experience: Proven background in retail security, ideally in a supervisory, management, or field-based capacity.
Leadership Skills: Strong team management abilities with a natural talent for motivating, coaching, and developing others.
Loss Prevention Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of loss prevention and security procedures within a busy retail setting.
Analytical Mindset: The ability to analyze security incidents, identify trends, and take proactive action to reduce loss.
Essential Requirements: Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills, a flexible approach to travel and working hours, and a valid UK Driving Licence.
