About the Role

As a permanent Weekend Housekeeping Assistant at Cedars Care Home, you will help create a warm, clean, and homely environment that enables us to meet each resident’s unique needs.

Keeping the home clean, safe, and welcoming over the weekends is vital. Through a variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks, you will ensure our residents, their families, and our care teams always enjoy an immaculate and comfortable environment. Your attention to detail will have a direct, positive impact on daily life throughout the home.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitisation duties across resident rooms and communal areas over the weekends.

• Maintain rigorous standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control.

• Ensure all facilities are kept spotless, safe, and welcoming for residents and weekend visitors.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated support team on a permanent part-time contract (24 hours per week).
