Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Lidl to recruit a resilient, responsible, and driven Warehouse Department Manager for an 11-month temporary assignment in Exeter. In this key leadership role, you will take charge of a department within the Regional Distribution Centre (RDC), motivating your team to ensure products reach stores without a hitch.
From boosting productivity and managing daily operational processes to coaching Shift Leaders and handling personnel management, you will bring a proactive and creative approach to keeping our warehouse running like clockwork.
Team Leadership & Line Management: Line manage an amazing team of Shift Leaders, providing coaching, training, and development to help them and their teams succeed.
Operational Efficiency: Work closely with Shift Leaders and other Department Managers to ensure smooth operations, boost productivity, and optimize warehouse processes.
Management Support: Support your Team Manager with overall operations, compliance, and Head Office projects.
Personnel & Compliance: Take responsibility for grievance and investigation processes, acting as a disciplinary manager while upholding company values.
Hands-On Management: Take a hands-on approach to managing daily operational processes, shift management, costs, rotas, and transport plans.

Proven experience leading previous teams to success in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting deadlines under pressure.
