About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) for flexible bank placements in Southport, Merseyside.
In this role, you will take responsibility for the physical, psychological, and social well-being of residents. You will enjoy the autonomy to exercise your professional clinical judgment, lead individualized care planning, safely administer medication, and deliver exceptional, person-centered clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
Exercising clinical judgment to support residents with complex physical and mental health needs.
Developing, reviewing, and updating tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments.
Administering medication safely in full compliance with Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines and clinical standards.
Upholding regulatory standards, including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA).
Providing flexible bank cover for planned or unplanned staff absences across day or night shifts.
About You
Registration: Current, active NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Clinical Expertise: Up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practices, regulatory frameworks (DoLS/MCA), and pharmaceutical management.
Skills: Proven experience in creating robust care plans, carrying out risk assessments, and making autonomous clinical decisions.
