As a Bank Care Assistant on night shifts, you will cover planned or unplanned absences (such as annual leave or sickness), ensuring residents receive attentive, person-centred care and support throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
Nighttime Care & Support: Assist residents with bedtime routines, night checks, personal care, and early morning preparations.
Care Plan Execution: Follow individual resident care plans and risk assessments to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort.
Companionship & Comfort: Offer reassuring support and one-to-one care when residents are awake or in need during night hours.
Teamwork & Handover: Collaborate with night shift staff and senior carers to maintain high care standards and complete clear shift handovers.
We are looking for compassionate, dependable individuals with strong communication skills and empathy for older people.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience caring for older adults (in professional or personal care settings).
Skills: Excellent communication, active listening, and a proactive, can-do approach.
