The Role
Are you an experienced night care professional looking for an impactful leadership role where you can support residents and mentor care teams? Middleton Lodge Care Home is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant to oversee night shifts, deliver exceptional standards of personal care, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring resident well-being during the night, tracking changes, updating care plans, and ensuring accurate written records are maintained.
Participating actively in the person-centred care planning process through implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting team development where required.
Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health/social care professionals, managing requests and escalating concerns promptly.

Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
At least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A positive attitude toward nurturing and supporting both residents and staff colleagues.
Flexibility and responsiveness to cover a range of responsibilities as needed.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
