ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Residential Senior Carer, you will lead shift teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care. You will ensure every resident’s physical, social, and emotional needs are met while fostering a warm, respectful, and vibrant care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of care staff on shift, including delegating duties, conducting supervisions, and providing on-the-job training.
Administer, order, and store medications safely in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
Create, review, and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
Act as a key liaison with external healthcare professionals, including GPs, district nurses, and family members.
Ensure residents' dignity, choices, and personal preferences are always respected.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an empathetic, skilled care professional with strong decision-making abilities and proven leadership qualities.
Requirements & Experience:
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Proven supervisory or care experience within a residential care setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
A warm, compassionate, and person-centred approach to care delivery.
