Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is recruiting on behalf of a specialist residential care service in Lostock Hall, Preston, for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join their night team.

About the Service

The residential home provides person-centred support for adults with:

Autism
Learning disabilities
Physical disabilities
Communication difficulties
Epilepsy
Mild to moderate behaviours that may challenge

The focus is on helping individuals live as independently as possible, achieve their personal goals, and enjoy active involvement within their local community.

The Role

As a Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring residents are safe, comfortable, and well-supported throughout the night while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care and emotional support during night shifts.
Assist residents with personal care and daily living needs when required.
Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks.
Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and outcomes.
Complete accurate care records and documentation.
Maintain a safe, secure, and respectful environment.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Follow care plans, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
Promote choice, independence, and inclusion at all times.

What We're Looking For

A caring, compassionate, and respectful attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and reliable with the ability to work the 4 nights on / 4 nights off shift pattern.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in health or social care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
A genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling and independent lives.
