Position: Class 1 Driver (Evening Shift)
Location: Kiveton Park
Pay Rate: £18.91 per hour (+ £1.15 Night Premium for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM)
Job Type: Permanent - Part-Time
Shift Pattern: Wednesday to Saturday (4 days per week), 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM start times (Routes planned for 8 to 12 hours)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their combination with Bakkavor) to recruit professional logistics talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading creators of convenience food, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their Kiveton hub—the home of Greencore’s chilled trunker fleet and temperature-controlled vehicle operations—we are currently seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver to handle shunting and driving duties with a manageable workload of 1 to 3 drops per shift.
Key Responsibilities
Safe Delivery & Shunting: Ensure the safe, fuel-efficient, and timely transport of goods, maintaining correct temperature specifications throughout.
Customer Interaction: Liaise directly with delivery points, maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, and project a professional brand image.
Documentation & Admin: Obtain signed or electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and complete all required transport administration.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to EU Driver Hours, RTD regulations, tachograph laws, and pre/post-vehicle safety checks.
What We Are Looking For
Licence & Compliance: A valid Class 1 licence, a current Driver CPC, and no unspent endorsements exceeding 6 points (speeding/parking only). No convictions for careless/dangerous driving or DUI within the past 5 years.
Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar driving environment.
Knowledge: Sound understanding of EC driver regulations, UK Highway Code, and LGV legal restrictions (such as bridge heights and weight zones).
