We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and qualified Gymnastics Coach to join the team at the iconic Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.

In this vital role, you will deliver engaging gymnastics sessions for children aged 2 to 11, helping them build confidence, develop essential physical and social skills, and enjoy an active lifestyle. Your coaching will help inspire the next generation to thrive through sport.

What You’ll Do

As a Gymnastics Coach, your responsibilities will include:

• Coaching Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver safe, engaging, and inclusive gymnastics sessions tailored to suit different ages, abilities, and learning styles.

• Programme Development: Support the growth and ongoing development of the community gymnastics programme.

• Administration: Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in line with local procedures.

• Promotion & Safety: Assist with promoting sports and recreational activities across the centre while championing health, safety, equality, and safeguarding standards at all times.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Hold a minimum Level 2 British Gymnastics qualification or equivalent (First Aid and Child Protection qualifications are desirable).

• Skills: Excellent communication, customer care, organisational, and motivational skills.

• Work Style: Ability to manage your own workload effectively and work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

• Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for the positive impact that sport can have on children and communities.

Vetting and Checks

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role (covering spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and relevant police information in accordance with safeguarding requirements). Candidates will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to ensure appropriate support is provided.
