In this key supervisory role, you will lead shift teams and work directly alongside Care Assistants to ensure exceptional daily care for residents. You will manage care plans, coordinate with medical professionals and families, handle medication administration, and collaborate with care home leadership to maintain high clinical and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise bank shifts, assign daily duties, and support care staff in providing person-centered support.
Oversee resident care plans, perform routine risk assessments, and liaise with healthcare professionals and family members.
Safely administer, track, and record resident medications in strict compliance with safety guidelines.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable) with proven team supervision and shift leadership capabilities.
Strong organizational, IT, and delegation skills with a thorough understanding of care planning processes.
Previous experience with medication administration (or a commitment to completing required training).
