Position: Bank Therapy Patient Coordinator
Location: Cromwell Hospital, 164-178 Cromwell Road, London (SW5 0TU)
Employment Type: Bank Contract (Part-Time / Ad-hoc shifts; flexibility required around early shifts starting at 7:30 AM and late finishes up to 7:00 PM)
Salary: £14.50 per hour

We are looking for a professional and empathetic Bank Therapy Patient Coordinator to ensure the smooth administrative running of our busy Therapy Department. In this dynamic ad-hoc role, you will assist clinical staff with non-clinical duties, manage patient appointments, handle billing, and provide a warm, courteous welcome to all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a warm, professional, and helpful greeting to all patients, visitors, and colleagues, managing direct, telephone, and email inquiries.
Gather relevant client information politely, confidentially, and accurately.
Manage appointment bookings, arrange interpreters when needed, send patient correspondence, and handle DNA/UTA policies.
Process payments for treatments and equipment, liaise with accounts, private medical insurers, and embassies, and reconcile daily financial reports.
Maintain appropriate departmental stock levels and complete general administrative filing and document management.
Relevant customer service and money-handling experience within a business or healthcare setting.
Excellent computer literacy, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Resilient and calm under pressure, with the ability to handle stressful situations involving emotional or challenging patients and visitors.
High cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse individual needs and preferences.
