About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Avery Healthcare to recruit a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Senior Care Assistant - Nights for Avonmere Care Home in Bristol.
In this vital night-shift leadership role, you will work alongside and support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, fostering a safe, caring, inclusive, and supportive environment for residents, visitors, and staff through the night.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident throughout the night, identifying any changes impacting care plans and updating written records to reflect new needs.
Lead and participate in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and completing monthly evaluations.
Support residents safely with their night-time medication requirements.
Undertake staff supervisions and assist in nurturing and developing team members.
Serve as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and any concerns are handled promptly.

What We Are Looking For:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attitude & Leadership: A positive, supportive disposition toward nurturing both residents and staff.
Flexibility: Responsiveness and adaptability to cover a range of shift responsibilities.
