Role Overview
Position: Deputy Home Manager - Residential
Location: Grace Care Centre, Whitebridge Gardens, Thornbury, Bristol, BS35 2FR
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, includes some weekend work)
Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026

Located in the heart of the historic town of Thornbury, Grace Care Centre is a purpose-built home offering high-quality residential and specialist dementia care in a warm, welcoming, and secure environment since opening in 2018.
What You Will Be Doing
Supporting the Home Manager with the overall leadership and smooth daily operations of the home.
Managing rota planning, employee recruitment, inductions, and mandatory training to ensure high standards of care.
Monitoring and managing individual employee performance, addressing any issues proactively through appropriate channels.
Utilizing marketing and finance experience to help grow occupancy, manage costs, and uphold the highest standards of resident wellbeing, dignity, and independence.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), with a willingness to work towards Level 4 or 5.
Experience: Previous management experience in an elderly care setting, with a hands-on, proactive approach and basic marketing/finance skills.
Key Traits: Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing team environment.
