Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum + excellent benefits

As a Men’s Gymnastics Coach working on behalf of the Birmingham Community Leisure Trust at the prestigious GMAC (Alexander Stadium), you will lead the development and delivery of an established gymnastics programme. From foundational recreational sessions through to competitive elite performance pathways, your work will help young athletes build confidence, acquire advanced skills, and achieve their full potential.
Coaching Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions across recreational, development, and performance streams.
Programme Leadership: Head the Men’s Gymnastics Development and Performance Programme, using a data-informed approach to drive growth, retention, and quality.
Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and support apprentice and junior coaches, delegating tasks to assistant coaches to ensure safe, effective session execution.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, champion health and safety, and enforce strict adherence to safeguarding protocols.
We are looking for an experienced, certified coach who is deeply committed to athlete development and inclusive sport.
Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 British Gymnastics coaching qualification (or equivalent experience) and a valid safeguarding qualification.
Experience: Proven track record coaching gymnasts across both recreational and high-performance environments.
Core Competencies: Excellent communication, organization, and customer care skills, with the ability to build trust with participants, parents, and stakeholders.
Vetting Readiness: Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and complete an occupational health questionnaire.
