About the Role

As a Bank Activities Coordinator at Cedars Care Home, you will help create a stimulating, vibrant environment that enables us to deliver exceptional person-centred care and support.

Working flexibly on a casual bank contract, your role will be centered around celebrating life by devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities tailored to every resident's interests and abilities. You will spend time getting to know residents and their families to build engaging programmes focused on maximizing wellbeing, independence, and social engagement. (Note: A full driving licence and access to your own transport is desirable, as shifts may occasionally be available across other local homes in the area).

Key Responsibilities

• Devise and deliver imaginative, fun, and motivational activities tailored to resident interests and abilities.

• Spend quality time getting to know residents and families to shape meaningful activity programmes.

• Foster social engagement, community involvement, and independence for every resident.

• Provide flexible bank cover on days as and when required to support the home.

• Collaborate with colleagues to bring infectious enthusiasm and creativity into daily home life.
