About the Service – Rockville (Plymouth)

Rockville is a fully wheelchair-accessible Supported Living Service in Plymouth. The service supports adults with diverse and complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, mental health needs, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, complex medical requirements, and challenging behaviours.

The environment focuses heavily on assistive care, meaning residents require moving, handling, and hoisting support to live comfortably and safely.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your core focus will be maintaining a safe, calm, and highly responsive environment overnight, ensuring that residents' complex clinical and emotional needs are met with the utmost dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

Overnight Safety: Work independently or alongside a teammate to provide safe, calm, and highly attentive waking night monitoring.
Person-Centred Night Care: Deliver clinical and physical support (including hoisting, positioning, and personal care) in line with specific individual care plans.
Domestic Assistance: Complete essential light household tasks and early morning meal preparation to set the service up for the daytime team.
Documentation & Handovers: Maintain precise overnight records and communicate effectively during the morning shift handover.

What you need to bring:

A naturally calm, caring, patient, and highly reliable nature.
Absolute comfort and confidence working independently during quiet night hours.
The resilience and respect required when supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
A willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (fully supported).
A full UK driving licence is a plus, but not essential.
No experience? No problem! Passion and empathy matter most—full training is provided.
