About the Role
We are recruiting a part-time Kitchen Assistant for a permanent position at Chater Lodge Care Home in Stamford.
In this essential role, you will support the catering team in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals that enhance the health and well-being of residents. You will help create a warm, enjoyable dining experience while maintaining strict standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation and meal serving.
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitization across all kitchen and dining prep areas.
Wash kitchenware, utensils, and dining equipment promptly.
Interact warmly with residents during meal times to help deliver a great hospitality experience.
About You
To succeed as a Kitchen Assistant, you will bring:
A reliable, hardworking, and caring approach with strong attention to detail.
High hygiene standards and a passion for teamwork.
Good communication skills and a friendly, respectful demeanor toward residents.
No formal qualifications required (experience in a commercial or care kitchen is a plus, but full training is provided)!
