Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Maintenance Operative to join The Lawns Care Home in Chelmsford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to join a dedicated care home team, ensuring the building, facilities, and equipment remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. You will play a key role in providing a comfortable environment for residents by carrying out planned maintenance, repairs, compliance checks, and supporting refurbishment projects. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and compliance checks to ensure the care home operates safely and efficiently.
Maintain building services, including plumbing, electrical systems, heating, ventilation, and general property maintenance.
Coordinate repairs with approved contractors, maintain accurate maintenance records, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support refurbishment projects, maintain the home's appearance, and assist with emergency procedures and maintenance across nearby care homes when required.
