About the Role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant (Bank) to join the award-winning team at Wandsworth Common Care Home, operated by Avery Healthcare. In this flexible bank role, you will work collaboratively as part of our housekeeping and laundry team to ensure that exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation are maintained throughout the home while upholding hotel service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all cleaning and laundry duties in strict accordance with worksheet instructions and standard operating procedures.
Understand the specific cleaning requirements of various surfaces and coverings, as well as the proper use of cleaning materials to keep all areas well-presented and maintained.
Ensure that all residents are treated with utmost dignity and respect, always safeguarding their personal space and belongings.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Previous experience of cleaning and handling laundry in a public setting.
Knowledge & Skills: Solid awareness of Health and Safety regulations, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
