Position: 7.5T Driver - Morning Shift
Location: Southampton (Distribution depot operating a fleet of 35 vehicles on 36 routes, serving regional convenience retailers and forecourts)
Pay Rate: £14.90 to £18.62 per hour (Plus an additional £1.15 per hour for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00; overtime payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter)
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday with a rolling rest day (04:00 start time; mandatory Saturdays with no Sunday work; routes run 8 to 12 hours long, averaging 10 to 20 drops per day)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their combination with Bakkavor) to find dedicated logistics and driving talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
Operating out of their Southampton distribution depot, we are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused 7.5T Driver for the morning shift to help keep Britain fed by delivering fresh chilled food daily to stores across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Deliveries & Multi-Drop: Complete 10 to 20 multi-drop deliveries per shift in a professional and timely manner along planned 8 to 12-hour routes.
Loading & Stock Handling: Load customer orders safely from the warehouse into your vehicle, ensuring complete accuracy against delivery notes.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain vehicle cleanliness, follow all health and safety regulations and driving laws, and wear issued PPE at all times.
What We Are Looking For
Licence & Experience: Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months with a maximum of 6 points, plus a minimum of 6 months of HGV experience (7.5T and/or upwards).
Core Skills: Fantastic people and customer service skills, a positive attitude, and absolute reliability.
