We are currently recruiting a Retail Shop Manager on behalf of a major national food-on-the-go retailer known for its high-energy environment, strong team culture, and competitive executive benefits.
About the Role
As the Shop Manager, you will take full operational leadership of the Euston Road store. You will lead, motivate, and develop your team to deliver exceptional sales, manage store profitability, and ensure outstanding customer experience across all ordering channels—in-shop, Click & Collect, delivery, and drive-thru.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and engage team members, creating an inclusive and high-performing store culture.
Operational & Financial Control: Manage key KPIs including wage budgets, waste controls, operational efficiency, and store profitability.
Customer Service Standards: Lead by example across all service channels to maintain exceptional store standards and customer satisfaction.
Hands-on Management: Roll up your sleeves to assist with food preparation, baking schedules, and front-of-house customer service during peak trading periods.
Store Presentation: Maintain immaculate standards of hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and stock availability throughout the shop.
Candidate Requirements
Management Experience: Proven track record as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Line Manager within retail or a fast-paced food-on-the-go environment.
People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and build high-performing, engaged retail teams.
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of operational controls, wage management, stock/waste management, and sales driving.
Shift Availability: Flexible to work full-time shift rotations, including early mornings (05:00 start) and late evenings (21:30 finish).
